Description
A delightful blend of chocolate and vanilla flavors, perfect for a treat!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup caramel syrup
- Whipped cream
- Maraschino cherries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional for extra chocolatey flavor)
Instructions
- Chocolate Milkshake: In a blender, combine the chocolate ice cream, 1/2 cup of milk, and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth. If a thicker consistency is desired, add more ice cream; for a thinner shake, add more milk. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the serving glass for decoration before pouring the milkshake in.
- Vanilla Milkshake: Rinse the blender and add vanilla ice cream, the remaining 1/2 cup of milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Drizzle caramel syrup inside the serving glass for decoration before pouring the milkshake in.
- Serving: Top both milkshakes with a generous amount of whipped cream. Place a maraschino cherry on top of each milkshake.
Notes
- For an extra indulgence, add a scoop of malt powder to the milkshakes.
- To create a layered effect, pour each milkshake slowly into the glasses, tilting them slightly.
- Chill the glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving to keep the milkshakes cold longer.
- Experiment with flavored syrups, such as strawberry or hazelnut, for added depth.
