Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup caramel syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional for extra chocolatey flavor)

Instructions

  1. Chocolate Milkshake: In a blender, combine the chocolate ice cream, 1/2 cup of milk, and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth. If a thicker consistency is desired, add more ice cream; for a thinner shake, add more milk. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the serving glass for decoration before pouring the milkshake in.
  2. Vanilla Milkshake: Rinse the blender and add vanilla ice cream, the remaining 1/2 cup of milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Drizzle caramel syrup inside the serving glass for decoration before pouring the milkshake in.
  3. Serving: Top both milkshakes with a generous amount of whipped cream. Place a maraschino cherry on top of each milkshake.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgence, add a scoop of malt powder to the milkshakes.
  • To create a layered effect, pour each milkshake slowly into the glasses, tilting them slightly.
  • Chill the glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving to keep the milkshakes cold longer.
