Description

Delicious crawfish stuffed bread perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb crawfish tails (cooked and peeled)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 loaf French bread (or Italian bread)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crawfish tails, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic, cajun seasoning, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Scoop out some of the bread from the center to create space for the filling.
  4. Spread the crawfish filling evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Place the filled bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the filling is heated through.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, increase the cajun seasoning.
  • Serve with a salad for a complete meal.
