Instructions

- Make the French Toast Custard: In a wide, shallow dish, whisk together the large eggs, milk (or half-and-half), 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully incorporated and slightly frothy.
