A creamy sauce perfect for salads or as a dip.
Ingredients

- 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise (use Duke’s mayo or Hellman’s aka Best Foods if not using Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise)
- ¼ cup water
- 1 Tbsp butter (salted, melted)
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, water, melted butter, sugar, tomato paste, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne.
- Whisk until smooth, or pulse in a food processor for a creamy sauce.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. For best flavor, chill overnight.
