Description

A delicious and easy taco-inspired dish using crescent rolls and ground beef.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning (or 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tubes crescent rolls (8 oz. each)
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Chopped Tomatoes
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Pico de Gallo or Salsa
  • Taco Sauce
  • Sour cream
  • Other taco toppings you like

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains, drain and add the meat back into the pan.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water, and cook until most of the water has evaporated and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  4. Place the crescent rolls in a circle on a large round baking pan with the narrow end facing out.
  5. Spoon the taco meat onto the crescent rolls to form a circle.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the taco meat.
  7. Fold the crescent rolls over the meat and cheese to form a circle.
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve immediately with toppings of your choice.
