Stir-Fried Striploin with Peppers

Description

A delicious stir-fry featuring tender striploin beef and colorful bell peppers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound striploin (sliced in strips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 2 bell peppers (any colour, sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ cup stir fry sauce (homemade or bottled)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add peppers and onions to oil and cook for 5-6 minutes or until tender. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to pan, then add beef and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Add vegetables back to pan. Pour in sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add some red pepper flakes when cooking the beef.
  • This recipe can be served over rice or noodles.
