- 1 package (17 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Spread Nutella generously over half of the pastry, leaving a half-inch border.
- Fold the pastry over the Nutella and slice into 1-inch strips.
- Twist each strip gently from both ends to form spirals.
- Brush each twist with egg wash for a golden finish and bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the powdered sugar.
- These twists are best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
