Description

A delicious honey garlic salmon recipe that is easy to prepare and bake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/3 cup pure honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and sesame oil.
  3. In another bowl, toss salmon pieces with cornstarch and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Marinate the coated salmon in the honey-garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Place marinated nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  7. Drizzle with remaining marinade and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add chili flakes to the marinade or on top before serving.
