Description

A quick and delicious sautéed shrimp recipe, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and black pepper. Tip: Dry shrimp sear better.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Tip: Do not brown the garlic.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze in lemon juice and sprinkle parsley over shrimp, then toss gently. Tip: Remove from heat immediately to keep shrimp tender.
