Succulent filet mignon steaks paired with tender shrimp, all drizzled with a flavorful garlic herb butter sauce.

- 2 filet mignon steaks (6 oz each)
- Salt & cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 sprig rosemary or thyme
- 8–10 shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt & pepper
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Let steaks reach room temperature. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet on medium-high. Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, flipping once. During the last minute, add butter, smashed garlic, and rosemary. Spoon the aromatic butter over the steaks continuously. Rest on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add oil and minced garlic; cook for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Squeeze lemon juice and add parsley. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a small pan. Add garlic; cook for 1 minute. Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
- Place steak on a plate. Top with shrimp. Drizzle garlic herb butter sauce over everything. Serve immediately.

- This dish pairs well with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
