Description

Delicious matcha pancakes that are fluffy and perfect for breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or coconut oil)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, sugar, and baking powder until thoroughly combined.
  2. In another bowl, beat the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, folding gently until just combined—be careful not to over-mix.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and pour about half a cup of batter for each pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface; flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve warm topped with maple syrup and fresh berries.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free option, substitute with your favorite milk alternative.
  • Make sure not to over-mix the batter to keep the pancakes fluffy.
