Description
Delicious ham and cheese sliders made with sweet Hawaiian rolls, three types of cheese, and a buttery topping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 16 sweet slider rolls (Hawaiian style)
- 1 pound package of deli ham (honey ham or Black Forest ham)
- 8 slices white cheddar cheese
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut individual rolls almost in half, ensuring the top is still attached to the bottom. Continue until all the rolls are cut.
- Take the cheddar cheese and cut 8 slices in half, giving you 16 half slices. Place one half slice on the bottom of each sweet roll, folding them if necessary.
- Add two folded slices of deli ham on top of the cheddar cheese layer. Repeat until all sandwiches are filled with deli ham.
- Add Swiss cheese on top of the ham layer for each sandwich.
- Follow with provolone cheese on top of the Swiss cheese layer for each sandwich.
- Gently push down the top of the sweet rolls to prepare for the topping mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix up the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and dried minced onion.
- Spoon the topping onto all the ham and cheese sliders, allowing it to roll down the sides.
- Cover the sliders with foil to prevent the top from browning too much.
- Place in the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Keep the foil on for the first 10 minutes, then remove it for the last 5 minutes for the top to toast.
- Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
- These sliders can be kept warm in the oven if needed.
- Experiment with different types of cheese or meats for variety.
