Description
This delicious white chocolate cranberry fudge is easy to make and perfect for gifting!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate melting wafers
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- ¾ cup dried cranberries (snipped, divided)
- ½ cup coarsely chopped pistachios (divided)
- 2 teaspoons finely shredded orange peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with foil and let the foil hang over the edges a bit. Lightly butter the foil so the fudge releases cleanly later.
- In a heavy two-quart saucepan, add the white chocolate melting wafers and sweetened condensed milk. Warm over low heat until the baking pieces melt and the mixture is smooth. Stir gently as it melts, so nothing scorches on the bottom.
- Take the pan off the heat and stir in three-fourths of the cranberries and three-fourths of the pistachios. Add the orange peel and vanilla and stir again until everything is evenly combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining cranberries and pistachios over the top. Cover and chill for about two hours or until firm.
- Lift the fudge from the pan using the foil overhang. Cut into small squares and serve or package for gifting.
Notes
- For best results, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before starting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
