- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- Chocolate sprinkles (for topping)
- Chocolate chunks (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling:
- Heat 1 cup of heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering.
- Pour over white chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes and stir until smooth.
- Refrigerate until thickened, about 1 hour.
- Make the Cupcakes:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Beat until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Fill the Cupcakes:
- Once cooled, use a knife to cut a small hole in the center of each cupcake, saving the cut-out pieces.
- Fill each hole with the white chocolate filling and replace the cut-out piece to seal.
- Prepare the Ganache:
- Heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream until simmering. Pour over dark chocolate chips.
- Stir until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Decorate the Cupcakes:
- Spoon or pour ganache over each cupcake, letting it drip down the sides.
- Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles over the ganache and top with chocolate chunks.

- When preparing the ganache, make sure not to overheat the cream or chocolate to avoid separation.
- For added flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the cupcake batter.
