Description

Oven-roasted asparagus drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus (trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for drizzling)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss the asparagus to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the asparagus.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the cheese is golden brown.
